Year One Work: The garden bed tilled for the first time. Quite heavy soil. Needed more topsoil and manure.

Year Two Work: Another load of topsoil and lots of manure from Dad's farm. Much lighter soil that produced far better.

Our first feast of baby greens from the garden!

My very first radishes and some of the little cherries from the tree (and a baby pepper I accidentally knocked off the vine).

How I used those cherries!

My adventures in salsa-making - Scotia, Roma, and cherry tomatoes from my vines, along with bell and jalapeno peppers.

Tada! First batch of canned salsa.

Rainbow chard is pretty AND delicious!

A freezer pickle recipe from my Grammie - yum!

Dried herbs for tea - lemon verbena and mint.

Tabbouleh made from all things fresh - mint, cucumber, tomatoes, and more!

Grape jelly from the grapevines out back - THAT was a long day!
